Ellie and Milo made a plan: one kindness every day until Christmas. Their first stop was Grandpa's house, where his wreath sat by the door, waiting for someone to hang it. Ellie climbed up on a stool and hung it just right. Grandpa wrapped her in a big, warm hug. And far away in the meadow, the very first light on the Big Tree flickered on! Milo's lantern gave a happy little flicker too.
