Ellie noticed that the little birds had nothing to eat. The snow had covered all the berries and seeds. So she and Milo strung a long garland of berries and seeds and draped it over the branches. Soon the birds came fluttering in. They chirped and sang so sweetly, it sounded like a thank-you song just for them.
